Mike Davis & Associates has a new Substack series to assist homeowners and contractors with home upgrade agreements
Thank you to all of the subscribers who have been enjoying reading my Defense By Davis Substack series since December 3, 2022. I am excited to announce a new Substack series related to another area of law that I specialize in: real estate litigation and mechanics liens.
While the current state of the economy has more home sellers than home buyers, there are still 1.5 million prospective homebuyers (as of April) who are looking to find a new home. That means sellers who want to flip houses or sell their current homes must be working with responsible contractors to make sure home upgrades and home renovations are done right the first time.
In this new Substack series, I give tips on a broad range of topics related to construction law. Who is responsible for permits? What's the best way to resolve contract disputes? How should homeowners respond to conflict with contractors? What happens if a contractor disappears in the middle of a job? What should happen before the threats of mechanics liens?
